Christoph Loch and Jenny Horsfield have both decided to step down from their Director roles on the Board at Cambridge United after both making a significant contribution to the development of the Club over the last decade...

Shaun Grady, Chairman of the Board on behalf of the Owners and Board said, "Christoph joined the Board in 2016 having been a Trustee of the Foundation, then the Community Trust, shortly after our return to the Football League.

"In that time, Christoph has been a wise and passionate voice on the Board and has been instrumental in deepening the Club’s ties with the University to where we are today with strong relationships with both Cambridge University and Anglia Ruskin.

"Jenny joined the main Board in 2020, having also previously been a Trustee of the Foundation where Jenny helped design the Active Science programme, to be included in the Foundation’s work with schools across the region and which is now also part of AstraZeneca’s community STEM work with Macclesfield and Everton, as well as here at Cambridge.

"Jenny also established and chaired the Women’s Board, bringing the Women’s team fully into the Club through a period of significant development to where we are today, working with real dedication, energy, commitment and wise judgement.

"On behalf of all the Board and our Owners I would like to place on record our huge appreciation for Christoph and Jenny’s very significant contribution.

"We will collectively reflect on how we can continue to develop and strengthen across the Club at the Board level and elsewhere."
